Figure 2 shows an example of an API Governance Framework which has several levels (or layers) which surround the API Lifecycle Management and provide guidance for the lifecycle. Furthermore, the framework consists of a variety of involved people and activities performed by the different roles participating in each of the stages of the API Lifecycle.
